My trailer is a 2025 Sunset Park SunLite 16BH, and every item listed below is perfectly suited for its designated spot. I’ve gone through plenty of products before finding the ones that truly work, so consider my pain your gain!

Bathroom

SHOWER VALVE

The original two-knob valve made it difficult to find the right temperature, resulting in wasted water and filling up the grey tank too quickly. Switching to a single-handle valve solved this issue, and it was super easy to install.

HIGH PRESSURE SHOWER HEAD

With long hair, rinsing out shampoo with the original showerhead was a time-consuming process that used a lot of water. This new showerhead has significantly improved water pressure while reducing water usage. It also features a shut-off valve, allowing me to scrub up and rinse off efficiently, which is especially helpful when boondocking.

HINGED SHOWER ROD

The shower in the 16BH always felt a bit cramped compared to my home shower, and I was constantly bumping my elbows on the walls or shower curtain. The hinged shower rod I added has really expanded the space, making the shower more comfortable in such a small area. After cutting the center rod to 15" and raising it higher than the original straight rod location, installation was a breeze. Now, after showering, I simply angle it back in, and it makes the bathroom feel larger with the curtain closed. It's a win-win!

TENSION POLE SHOWER CADDY

Because of the textured shower surround, suction cup storage wouldn’t stick, and I didn’t want to risk drilling holes and causing potential water damage. The four L-shaped shelves I added offer great storage space without taking up much room, unlike the bulky triangular versions, and they keep toiletries secure while traveling.

BATHMAT

I can't believe that I found a bathmat, 22x14, that fits perfectly on the floor in front of the toilet. It is plush on your feet, anti-slip, absorbent and comes in 12 colors.

FOLDING FOOTREST

Having a hard time shaving your legs in this tiny shower? I use this footrest and when I am done, it folds up and stores behind the toilet.

TOILET BOWL BRUSH

Perfect for tiny spaces and easily mounts to the wall (I do add alien tape.)

MINI TRASH CAN

Like many foreign countries, I do not flush anything but waste down the toilet in my trailer. This helps with clogging the black holding tank. But where to put used toilet paper? This trash can fits perfectly between the toilet and shower.

MAKE-UP MIRROR

Unfortunately, my close vision is not what it used to be. This magnifying lighted mirror has suction cups and is rechargeable which is great since there are no outlets in the bathroom.

TOWEL BAR & HOOKS

Great size for hand towel. This fits easily on the exterior wall and comes with self-adhesive. I installed it with alien tape as well.

TENSION RODS

Love these! I use them to hang my towels to dry after showering. And I have also used them in the main area of the trailer to hang things. When not in use, I either store them in the back corner behind the toilet or in the bench dinette storage.

MEDICINE CABINET SHELVING

Wish there were more shelves in the medicine cabinet? These adjustable shelves fit the depth of the cabinet and give you two more shelves.

SKYLIGHT COVER

The 22x14 insulator cover fits in the skylight over the shower, is budget friendly and keeps the heat out. It did take 48 hours to "inflate" after removing the vacuum packaging.

DOOR ORGANIZER

Where to put tissues, toilet paper, wet wipes and towels when there is no room to mount a toilet paper holder or shelving? This over the door organizer works great and is easily accessed when using the toilet. Because it is just under 13", it fits on the bathroom door.

Kitchen

KITCHEN FAUCET W/SPRAYER

One of the reasons that I chose a Sunset Park RV trailer was the size of the kitchen sink. I wanted to be able to wash a large pot as well as my pup. To be able to do this, I would also need a sprayer. Plus, a sprayer makes it easier to clean the sink. This model is like the sister version of the faucet that came with the trailer. When installing, a hole in the shelf needed to be cut for the weight to hang down.

NESTING POTS & PANS

It's all about saving space. These pots and pans nest well, have a detachable handle, cooking cover and storage cover. Comes in blue, red and white. My only wish is that there were two handles.

PLEXIGLASS HOLDER FOR DIY STOVE GUARD

As much as I love the 16BH, I do not love how the stove is right next to the bed. Who can actually never get splatter when cooking? I made a detachable splatter guard using plexiglass and these holders. I mounted one on the wall to keep it in place while using it and the remaining ones are clipped on the bottom to stabilize the guard.

PAPER TOWEL HOLDER

This fits perfectly mounted under the cabinet next to the stove exhaust vent. Paper towels will not unroll while traveling. I used alien tape and small screws.

CABINET LOCKS

Has your refrigerator opened while traveling? Mine did and a bottle of beer fell out and exploded everywhere. What a mess! These locks work perfect to secure your refrigerator and freezer doors.

WRAP STORAGE

Since the 16BH only has one small drawer, there is no place to store and organize wrap storage. But wait! There is on the door below the sink with these holders.

SINK PROTECTOR

As much as I like the size of the sink, I do not like how it is made out of plastic and can scratch easily. There is a solution for this. This sink protector (12.5" x 24") easily cuts down to fit the sink.

UTENSIL STORAGE

Where can you put all your cooking and eating utensils when there is only one tiny drawer and you need also need space for your "junk"? This wall organizer can fit everything including a dish towel, is out of the way and makes everything easily accessible. The one that I installed is no longer available. I found this one and actually like it better because it has two holders. I installed it with alien tape and small screws.

COLLAPSIBLE WASH BIN

This wash bin is a great solution when your gray tank is filling up but not your back tank. Simply place this in your sink and dump it down your toilet when you do not have access to a dump station. It collapses when you do not need it.

COLLAPSIBLE COLANDER

There is only so much storage in the kitchen of the 16BH. Collapsible items are a must and I found a colander that is space saving.

3-IN-1 SOAP DISPENSER

I did not want to deal with taking out and putting away my hand soap, dish soap, and doggie shampoo every time I traveled. I mounted this using the self-adhesive mounting panel and alien tape.

KITCHEN TRASH

The 16BH has relatively no floor space, so where can you put a trash can? The bin fits just right on the open panel below the drawer. The lid can slide down to stay open or flip up. It comes in grey or white.

MINI KEURIG

Love this coffee maker. It is only 5" wide, the cord coils up when being stored, it has a "strong" button and has a storage container for 9 pods.

REFRIGERATOR THERMOMETER

My trailer has the dual fuel (electric/propane) and cannot run while traveling. These thermometers are a great way to keep track of the temperature in the freezer and refrigerator.

COLLAPSIBLE POPCORN MAKER

A fun little item to have in the trailer when you're watching movies. I add the small portion size of kernels, pop for 2 minutes and tadah, perfect popcorn! And, it collapses!

POT & PAN PROTECTOR

The solution to protecting your pots and pans with stacking. I use these at home too!

Storage

FOLDING SHELVES

Maximize your storage with these folding shelves. They are two different sizes. I use the larger one under the tv to hold books and my iPad. I use the smaller ones over the stove, below the medicine cabinet and next to the window above the bed. Since the screw holes are different spacing than the stud locations, I had to first attach a backer screwed into the studs and spray painted black to match the shelving.

WARDROBE STORAGE

I do not travel with hanging clothes and wanted to maximize the storage in the cabinet next to the bed with an easy budget friendly option. I found this hanging shelf organizer that fit perfectly in the cabinet for tops and bottoms. With no drawer storage for socks, bras and panties, I made use of the cabinet door with these hanging containers. I had to try many different ones until I found ones that would work with the door width and not impede on the hanging storage. I also added a motion activated USB rechargeable LED light.

SHOE RACK

As for shoe storage in the 16BH—if you relocate the fire extinguisher, this shoe rack can be mounted on the open wall. Depending on the type of shoes, I can store 4 to 6 pairs. I secured it with alien tape and small, short screws, making it both sturdy and space-efficient.

KEY HOLDER & COAT HOOKS

Without a lot of wall space, I needed a location to hang keys, dog leash, poop bag dispenser, coats, hats and a place to put my cellphone so it is always in one place. The wall with the intended tv location worked great with these coat hooks and storage shelf with hooks.

CABINET ORGANIZER

The cabinet above the sink is a decent size but hard to organize. I found this cabinet shelf to separate items and make it easier to get items out of the cabinet.

WALL HANGER

I needed a space to store my folding table that I use at my loveseat/daybed. The wall space next to the toilet is the right size but I needed a way to secure it while traveling. I found these keyboard holders that the folding table fit in. I installed it with screws into the studs.

FILE ORGANIZER

This file holder has 13 pockets which are easily labeled to organize all the travel trailer manuals and information. I use a label maker on the tabs. I store this in the bench seat storage, so it is easily accessed when I need to figure out how to use or fix something on the trailer.

TIP: LOCATING STUDS IN A SUNSET PARK RV TRAVEL TRAILER

With typical wall construction, I would use a stud finder to find a stud. But with trailer construction, the studs are easily found by knocking on the wall. As you move down the wall while knocking on it, when you hit something solid, it is a stud. If it knocks like it is hollow, there is nothing behind the panel.

TIP: KEEP ITEMS IN PLACE WHILE TRAVELING

Use a shelf liner like Gorilla Grip. Don't forget to protect your microwave glass turntable.

Miscellaneous Interior

WALL SCONCES

I wanted soft reading lights at the dinette. These wall sconces are LED, USB rechargeable, have 3 color temperatures and are dimmable. They can be easily screwed into the wall because they are lightweight and to not need a stud to hang.

OVERHEAD LIGHT

The overhead lights can be blinding. I replaced the ones over the bed and sink with these. They are dimmable and have a soft blue night light. They took less than 30 minutes to install.

12-VOLT 24" TV WITH DVD/CD PLAYER

I wanted a tv that I could watch content from my iPad, play CDs and DVDs when there is not internet for streaming and had WiFi capabilities. I used the tv mount listed below. Because the designated location in the 16BH is not ideal, I relocated it at the foot of the bed. Check out Relocate Your TV for the Perfect View!

TV MOUNT

Lightweight and easy to install.

SOUNDBAR MOUNT

This was the most cost-effective mount that would mount to the tv and fit the small size of the soundbar. The bars had to be cut down and blocks to fill in the gap at the arms.

WALL FAN

Unfortunately, the 16BH does not have a roof vent in the main living space. If you do not want to run the AC to get air movement, you are out of luck. But wait! The wall fan can be centrally located, has 3 speeds, oscillates and has a remote. My only wish is that it was 12-volts.

ELECTRIC HEATER

When you are connected to shore power, why use up your propane with the heater that came with the 16BH? This little heater is compact, has a carrying handle, quickly heats up, oscillates, has 5 modes as well as an energy saving mode and has tip over/overheat protection. Perfect size for the square footage in the 16BH.

USB FAN

To get air circulation when sleeping without the AC, I found this rechargeable fan that can be hung from the overhead storage. It has 3 speeds and a LED light. It lasted all night on high. I used a 3M hook to hang it from the upper cabinet bottom.

MATTRESS COVER

This mattress cover is 6-sided, waterproof and zippered. I won't lie....it took a bit to get on because of the limited size in the trailer. It is a little baggie but I would rather have the protection. And all I hear about is moisture build-up under the mattress.

MATTRESS TOPPER

The mattress in the 2025 16BH is comfortable but I wanted a little more luxury. This topper (53"x74"x3') fit the bill and is the perfect size.

SOUNDBAR

How loud is that air conditioner?! And let's face it, the speakers on TVs are not great. To be able to hear the tv, I added this small sound bar.

ENTRY RUNNER

Looking for a rug the runs from the door of the 16BH to the edge of the bathroom? The 47"x20" works! And it comes in 6 colors.

FIRE SPRAY

Let's talk fire safety. I don't know about you, but I have never used a fire extinguisher before but have no problem using an aerosol spray. Plus, it last 4 times longer than a fire extinguisher, providing 32 seconds of firefighting times.

FIRE BLANKET

Ideal for small fires in confined spaces, easy to deploy, no mess, offers back-up to fire extinguisher and does not expire.

CUSHION FOAM

The foam in the dinette bench cushions is pretty much useless—it’s so thin that your bum sinks straight to the wood! Luckily, the cushion covers are zippered, so it's easy to replace the foam with something more supportive.

SOFA SLIPCOVER

I wanted to turn my dinette into a loveseat/daybed. This slipcover easily slips over all 4 bench cushions making into one long cushion. This cover can be washed, is super soft, stays in place with an elastic bottom and comes in 26 colors. I ordered large in light grey which works with the 16BH interior colors.
